As part of the Lifelong Learning unit at Simon Fraser University, SFU Continuing Studies offers flexible education for personal and professional development. SFU CS delivers hundreds of non-credit courses and more than two dozen programs to help fulfill career goals, build and support sustainable communities, and find personal enrichment.
Empowering learners aged 16 to 95 with 35+ programs

As a web and graphic designer for SFU’s Lifelong Learning marketing team, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects. It began with a redesign of the English Language and Culture (ELC) program’s website, where I collaborated with other team members to identify pain points in the old site and created new graphics to simplify complex information.
I also took on the challenge of improving their email marketing by redesigning templates and maintaining a database of over 50,000 contacts, ensuring efficient and effective communication adhering to CASL regulations.
To enhance their visual storytelling, I started a new photography library, capturing authentic images of their programs for use across different materials. Along the way, I also created detailed reports and presentations to support the team’s efforts and showcase results.
